Woodridge, IL | In-Person with Limited Telehealth Options
Selah Professional Counselors is an outpatient group practice providing thoughtful, compassionate mental health care rooted in a Catholic understanding of the human person. We are committed to whole-person care, ethical clinical practice, and supporting therapists as both professionals and people.
We are currently seeking licensed or provisionally licensed therapists to join our team.
Position Overview
This role provides outpatient psychotherapy within a structured, supportive group practice. Clinicians are expected to maintain a consistent caseload, complete required responsibilities, and contribute to a collaborative, values-informed environment.
The majority of our clients identify as Catholic and may seek to integrate their faith into therapy. Clinicians should be comfortable supporting client-directed integration of spirituality when appropriate.
The practice provides referral and administrative support, and we work with clinicians to build caseloads aligned with their strengths. Maintaining a consistent caseload is a shared responsibility and depends on clinician availability, reliability, and quality of care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families
Maintain a consistent weekly caseload aligned with agreed-upon expectations
Complete clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner (progress notes, treatment plans, etc.)
Participate in supervision, consultation, and team meetings as required
Communicate professionally with administrative staff regarding scheduling and client care needs
Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice
Integrate spirituality into treatment when clinically appropriate and requested by the client
Maintain reliability in scheduling, attendance, and continuity of care
Caseload & Schedule Expectations
Clinicians are expected to maintain a caseload of approximately 15–25 client sessions per week, depending on availability and role
Minimum of 3 shifts per week
Must include at least 2 evening and/or weekend shifts
Consistent availability and schedule reliability are required
Additional Notes
Limited telehealth/work-from-home options may be available but are not guaranteed
Compensation & Benefits
W-2 employee position, paid per client session/clinical hour (clinical hour includes session documentation and license required supervision)
Base rate of $50 per session for provisionally licensed clinicians and $60 per session for fully licensed clinicians
Graduated Pay Structure (4 Tiers):
Compensation ranges from $50–$65 per session (provisional) and $60–$75 per session (fully licensed)
Tier placement is based on the average number of completed sessions per week within each pay period (2 weeks)
Clinicians may move between tiers, including upward or downward adjustments, based on caseload consistency
Paid Time Off (PTO)

Professional liability (malpractice) insurance is fully covered by the practice
Administrative, billing, and scheduling support provided
Clinicians who meet a threshold of 100 completed client sessions in a calendar month are eligible for a monthly medical stipend. Eligibility is based on completed sessions and is evaluated on a monthly basis.
Supervision is provided in accordance with Illinois licensure requirements for provisionally licensed clinicians
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Active Illinois license: LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT (or actively working toward full licensure)
Ability to work in-person in Woodridge, IL
Availability for evening/weekend shifts as outlined above
Commitment to maintaining a consistent caseload and schedule
Willingness to participate in supervision (provisionally licensed) and monthly consultation (all)
